Dear Parents,
Is it really the third quarter? It seems like just yesterday we were having open house:) I continue to be amazed at how fast time flies when you are having fun. As we enter the cold winter months we are already planning for our annual silent auction and show. I have had an interesting time planning it because it is a show that will highlight the difficulties God's people have encountered as they have followed His will. Each class will have a "skit" to do to depict that scripture. Some will be funny; some will be serious. All will leave an impact of what happens when we follow Jesus. Even as I am planning I realize that anything that you try to do for Jesus encounters trials. As I remember how God has pulled us out of so many "desserts" as a school, we continue to face giants with just a sling and a stone. I was reminded the other day of a song by Casting Crowns called "The Voice of Truth". The words are impacting as they depict the voices this world can give us. BUT the voice of TRUTH always rings true. My school family, our God never changes. He is the same every day and will always be able to be trusted. In today's turbulent world, we can take that promise to the spiritual bank. Please continue to pray for RGCA as we continue to let Jesus lead the way in what we are doing here.
